On the flip side, they need capital to establish any meaningful industries to process natural resources into saleable, exportable goods. And most often than not these capital investments usually come from the donors in the developed countries. Stemming from the fact that these donor nations have their own agenda, they will stipulate how their donations should be utilised which I personally feel is hypocrisy and just another more advanced form of colonialism.
