    • ENCOMIUMS are still being poured on late diva Whitney Houston by some Nigerian artistes who were touched by her demise.

Princess Anne Inyang screamed when she received the news of Houston's death. 'Oh my God! I thought she came out of it. What a great loss!'

She said 'the diva with the golden voice was my favourite singer. Whitney Houston is gone too soon and the whole world shall miss her greatly. On behalf of all female singers, the world over, we say Adieu great icon.'

Also reacting to the death of Houston is Nigeria's 'Facebook Love' crooner Essence. Born Uwalejemitawale Okoro, Essence described her death as a massive loss. 'It is like a bad dream when they woke me up and broke the news.

God has all the plans for all of us. He ordained the day she died as the expiry date for Houston on earth. Who are we to question Him? We will greatly miss her,' she said.

For Patience Achema, popularly known as Davina, Houston's demise is a big slap to music industry worldwide. According to her 'She's an epitome of excellence and had a powerful voice.

'Showbiz is not easy, that is why some artistes take drugs and indulge in so many things. It is hard to survive in this industry because the stress is too much.

You have to keep your image and meet the expectation of your family, friends and fans. We will miss her dearly,' she added.

Houston's official cause of death will not be determined for six to eight weeks, pending toxicology results.

Meanwhile, Houston's 18 year old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, has been struggling with her mother's death. She was hospitalised Sunday for 'stress and anxiety,' a family source told ABCNews.com.

She was released Sunday afternoon as her father, Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown, boarded a plane to L.A.

TMZ reported that on Friday night, Bobbi Kristina fell asleep in another bathtub at the Beverly Hilton. Friends had to contact hotel security so she could be removed from the tub.

Houston, who struggled with drugs and alcohol and entered rehab for the third time last year, reportedly spent Friday night at the bar of the Beverly Hilton hotel with a group of friends.

She was at the bar for a long time, drinking and being very loud, according to TMZ. Some of her songs are 'Saving All My Love For You' and 'I'll Always Love You.' The former American Idol died at the age of 48.
