Sometimes you see women with thick layers of make-up, other times women just like the natural look. How do you think about make-up and its effects on the person and on the society in general? Do you think women sometimes try to hide their self under a layer of make-up? Does it work as a protective shield or as a pretence to be someone else, to make up for a low self-esteem? Or do you prefer the natural look and stick to the statement 'less is more'?
I hardly ever wear make-up during the day, apart maybe from mascara. Sometimes I put on a bit more for special occasions. But I know for myself that wearing make-up boosts my confidence and I want to know whether other women feel alike. And I would love to share tips and tricks about the application of make-up etc.
Thanks
