Well, at face value I probably would not marry her unless I had very strong feelings for her and I was just about ready to get myself into that sort of commitment.



However, if it's just a friend who deeply loves me and makes this proposal to me, I would probably have to find a very diplomatic and soft way to say no.

I do not know what argument could be out against a woman proposing to a man. We are now living in a modern and developed society, in which women take over certain traditions which were in the hands of men far too long. We always talk about equality between men and women. Lets face it, the focus has changed. Women are capable of taking up the part of the stronger sex and if a woman feels strongly about a man and wants to make that step of getting married, I do not see any objections for her not to do so. And besides, men sometimes do get cold feet when a relationship gets serious and although they think about proposing and getting married they do not take the first step. Et voila, a woman comes to his rescue and takes the burden from his shoulders.
